Builder Series
Are you looking to build your first quadcopter? Do you want instructions
for every step from start to every step from unboxing to your very first flight?
XILO JOSHUA BARDWELL BUDGET BUILD KIT
The Xilo kit is perfect for a first racing or freestyle drone. It features a durable frame and high-quality electronics made by GetFPV. This kit is strongly preferred in the U.S. since GetFPV is based there. For pilots outside the U.S., shipping makes the kit much more expensive. The kit is sometimes available on Banggood, but not everybody prefers to shop there.
TYRO 119 COMPLETE BUILD
The Tyro 119 kit is less expensive than the Xilo, but it’s less durable and flies worse. The main reasons to choose the Tyro kit are if you want to explore GPS-based flight (the Tyro can run iNav firmware) and if you are shopping outside the U.S. (the Tyro is often in stock from Banggood, which makes shipping to Europe and Asia faster and cheaper).
